Why should I use the second one? The first one goes up to 1440p

1440x900 is not 1440p, that's 900p.

1440p is 2560x1440.

The second monitor goes up to 1080p (1920x1080)

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

The 2nd one is much better. But really I would look into a 27" display. Qnix div-only on eBay or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009626

or if you have the budget a crossover 404k or http://www.amazon.com/Acer-XB280HK-bprz-28-inch-Widescreen/dp/B00O0Z5682
