So i've tried 3 different drives and regardless of which drive they are loud but more annoying then that is the vibration to the rest of the case.

this is with all case fans off and cpu fan on a very low rpm. MY case is a Define S.

The drive itself sounds ok but I'd use rubber vibration mounts and install it lower down at the bottom of the case to lessen vibrations.

Both sides of the hdd mount has anti-vibration rubber.

Looks like pretty standard rubber washers that don't really do much but one thing to note it is slotted in place and only screwed down on side make sure the slotted side isn't vibrating or loose at all.

I personally like to mount HDD on really thick foam or rubber isolators or shock mount the drive so it doesn't have any way of transferring vibrations to the case

Certainly doesn't look like rubber to me. Maybe use some foam or something and attach onto there.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT
