Hi LTT Forums,

Just wondering if any one could help with a little something in audacity, I want to be able to add and effect to my voice and im not sure which one and how much of what.

It sound like a bit of and echo and maybe a bit of reverb, but i'm not sure.

An Effect like this:

and

For the first verse.

I'm sure it's very simple, But my excuse is that i'm a noob.

If any one could tell me which effect(s) I should use and the values of each bit.

Many Thanks

Are you wanting to do this on a lot of content or just one or two files?

Well I currently have a file of me singing and another of me rapping, And i would like to know how to create an effect like in the videos posted. After I learn how to do this for one or two files, I will continue to use it for future projects.

Okay, I would be willing to do this for you on another piece of software.

Essentially, without getting too technical, if you are using the stock reverb plug-in in Audacity you will want to play around with the room size, maybe set it to around 55%, predelay to 16%, reverence to 45%, dampening 50%, Tone Low/Tone High 100%, Wet Gain -1dB, Dry Gain -1dB, Stereo Width 100%....

Those settings should get a similar sound, but if you want me to actually listen to your stuff and have a go at editing it then PM me and I will sort it out for you :)
