So in the next week I Plan on upgrading my computer to x99  I need advice on my upgrade and if there is anything i should change I plan to spend just over £1000 or $1600

Computer Uses

-Gaming

-Content Creation

-Overclocking

I will be recycling some of the parts from my current system

Recycled components

-Corsair 900D

-Corsair CX750M

-Noctua NH-u14S

-NZXT HUE

-1TB HD

-R9 290 Tri-x   (I will be upgrading to a 980TI in the fall)

Current Parts to Order

CPU   - i7 5820k

MB    - MSI Xpower ( I know it is overkill but I never want to upgrade my mother board again in this system and because it is EATX it fills out the 900d Better)

RAM  -HyperX fury Black Series 8 GB

SSD   -HyperX 3K 240 GB

HD      -Seagate Barracuda 2TB

FAN'S -Corsair SP120                                          X4   (For 900D Basement Rings spray painted yellow )

-Fractal Design Venturi HP-14 PWM         X2   (For Noctua CPU cooler )

I need a good 4 pin fan extension for all the extra fans and this is all I could find

Here is a good start for your consideration and comparison to other's builds.

It is my build. Perfect for content creation, and for 1080p gaming as long as you can get over the "Non-gaming" RAM.

As you can see, including shipping for US locations, you could pull it off for the 1.3k.

That is one nasty choice for cpu cooler, considering the overall cost.

I would suggest getting a better quality power supply, as the Corsair CX isn't that good. Have a look at EVGA G2/GS/B2, XFX, Seasonic, Antec HCG, Edge, TPC, SuperFlower Golden Green, Leadex.

I agree, I wouldn't trust a CX with that expensive of a rig
