Hey guys,

I am trying to get USB booting to work on my c720 (2nd gen) and when I type crossystem it gives the list of crossystem commands as usual, but several of them say (error) instead of 0 or 1.

I have typed the commands dev_boot_usb=1, dev_boot_legacy=1 but they both say that the command is write-protected. I am running the developer shell, and I made sure to update it sudo bash then chromeos-firmwareupdate --mode=todev but it still doesn't work.

Do I need to make the something writable? I saw somewhere that you should make rootfs writable.

Let me know what I should do!
