Hello everyone,

I recently bought a new graphics card which is the (MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G) and was wondering if I will run into a problem having this power supply (GIGABYTE SUPERB GE-P450P-C2) , do I need to upgrade it? And what am I looking for in a new power supply (with details please)?

Thanks a lot.

Well Thanks but I'm little confused now because others say it's not enough.

I think it doesnt have all the necessary connectors

Is it possible to just buy a PCI power connector and plug in into the 8pins?

1) Ratings: 80+, 80+Bronze, 80+Silver, 80+Gold, 80+Platinum, 80+Titanium

2) Amount of Wattage usually 750-850w

3) Brand Reputation

4) Price

What is enough ? What do I need exactly? And preferably link to the PSU I need. Thanks

80+Bronze would be the minimum for "high-end" hardware, but 80+ is fine for your needs unless of course you're looking to overhaul your build in the future

You'll probably need something right around 650w-750w

You can choose any PSU you want as long as it fits your price point or budget

an 8 pin is a pci power connector  so no

an EVGA GS 550w is perfect

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
