Hi! :)

As the title says I'm going to build my first PC and I'd use it mainly for games and maybe do some editing. My budget is around 800€ and I live in Finland so the prices are pretty high (I think). Well these are the parts I was thinking about:
-i5 4460 Haswell (185€)

-GTX 750 Ti Twin Frozr (155€)

-Kingston ValueRAM 1600mhz 2x4gb (cheapest I could find really lol 60€)

-Asus H97M-Plus mobo (105€)

-Kingston SSDNow V300 120gb (I know there's been lots of problems with it but my brother has one and it's working really well. 50€)

-Sharkoon T28 Red led case(looks cool I guess 75€)

-Corsair VS550 psu (65€)

-Rajintek aidos black cpu cooler (25€)

-Windows 8.1 Pro (20-100€)

-(1TB Western Digital blue HDD (65€))

What do you guys think of this build and do you have some recommendations? Also do you know if G2A sells legitimate and working Windows 8.1 product keys (ONLY 20€!!) ?

You don't need a CPU cooler for a unlocked processor.

Get a i3 instead your 750 ti will hold your i5 back, get a better graphic card like the r9 280 or r9 270.

Also don't get the V300 kingston changed their controller and now they are dead slow, get a bx100. And get a cheaper h81 motherboard so you can afford a better graphic card.

I was thinking that if I bought a bit better processor it would last longer and I could upgrade my graphics card later. As for cpu cooler I guess you're right.

Actually the other way round, you should be more concerned on your graphic card not lasting as long not your processor. You can very easily upgrade your CPU even in H81 board, so you better get a decent graphic card the 750 ti is really showing its age and is due to an upgrade with the 950Ti.

where the 750 (ti) really shines and the reason that I don't think of the 950 as a replacement for it is the no additional power connectors. this allows the 750 (ti) to be put in a number of systems like older computers that have custom power supplies that have no extra connectors.

I am a member of the PCMasterRace. I am terribly sad to announce that I own a PeasantStation 3 Super Slim. it's in a drawer away from my glorious PC.
