Hey guys!

A few weeka ago, I bought an ASUS ROG G751.

At first I had no problems and loved the laptop, but then the CPU fan started giving out strange noises so I sent it for repair. I couldn't find some documents for the 2 year warranty from the firm I bought it, so the technicians told me that they'll use the 1 year reliability warranty from ASUS.

That warranty states that if your laptop gives out a defect in the first year, they will give you back the repaired laptop and also the full price for the laptop... Sweet right?

So my question is, does anyone have experience with that promotion and is it really legit? I've read the rules of it so I know I do cover all the requierements, so I wanted to stop by here and ask if anyone actually had any exp with that.

Thank you in advance!

No.. It's the laptop repaired, one of equivalent or better spec or the price back.. not a combination.. It's either a mis print or your reading wrong.

As for the 2 year warranty.. Just take it back to the place you bought it from.. If it's a physical store then they should remember you / have a record of the sale.. If it's online then you'll have an account or email reciept... that should be all you need.

Also where are you? If it's the EU you have a 2 year warranty no matter what the company says by law.

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Quote or @dzzope to get my attention..

This sounds a lot better - getting both makes no sense for ASUS to do.
