Need help with a build?

Bray

Hey! Ive never build a PC before, so I have no idea what to do. Here are the games I play:

Minecraft, CS:GO, Elder Scrolls Online, and World of Tanks.

My budget is below $1000, I currently have a mouse, keyboard, and headset, but nothing else. I need an operating system and a monitor as well.

Also, if possible, could I build a decent PC for recording with this budget? Thanks!

This isn't that hard to budget for, assuming you live in the US.

And as for recording, it depends on what you're trying to record. If it's just casually recording every so often, some software will do fine, but if you want to record often/stream to twitch, you probably will need a seperate capture PC

Lol, thanks. It was my username when I started into PCs and it was the only thing I could think of and it just kind of stuck.

Yaaay!. Just under 1K, has a brand spankin' new GPU, and good overall parts.

NOTE: You might wait a few months, then get a 5th gen desktop CPU, or enjoy huge discounts on the core i5 i listed.

I'd change the CX PSU and he also needs a monitor and OS. Other then that, it looks like a solid build.

Not to be an ahole, but why the non-k processor and the z series mobo? Seems useless to me. No offense.

I'm a student currently attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, if you attend or around there please don't hesitate to contact me!

--------------------------------------------

Sacrifices have been made.

Still got an i5, but not as powerful. Motherboard had to be cut down from a z97 due to price. The power supply had to be cut down to a Non-Modular one.

At least it's got a 970 in it! Going to have nice gameplay with it.

According to Corsair and Coolermaster's specs they don't, but their measurements could be slightly off to be on the safe side. It seems to just barely fit in the video, with the heatpipes almost touching the window. I also imagine it's fit would differ depending on the cpu and motherboard. Regardless, its good to know that the 212 MIGHT fit as it is a very popular cooler and the spec cases are quite popular as well.

Yeah, at least. I would suggest something maybe a bit wider as far as case goes now that I know.

Oh. I was going to a bit ago after I had grown out of my old Rosewill Wind Knight, but went with the Antec Eleven Hundred V2 instead when I saw it on Newegg Flash for $39. I currently have a NZXT Respire T40 and I don't think it would have fit in a Spec 02.

Wow! Thanks so much for all the replies and help! Which one of these should I go with? I honestly don't have a clue what any of this means.
