Need a new laptop

Going to college in system administration, so I need a light laptop to take notes with and maybe game on the subway and bus or when I'm not home?

 

Requirements:

  • Has to have an SSD
  • At least 8GB RAM
  • 1080p screen or higher
  • If possible, a mechanical keyboard with MX Brown switches (not necessary though but it would help with typing)
  • No AMD CPU pls. I don't need an i7 either (not going to use hyperthreading). So that leaves me with an i5.
  • Has to have an HDMI port so that I can connect it to a TV
  • Be able to play games decently at low settings. GTA V low settings? -willing to sacrifice gaming performance for weight
  • Be as light as possible so that I can carry it around pretty much all day
  • Nothing from Acer, please.

 

Oh and did I ever mention I HATE LAPTOPS :'(

 

wish I could carry my rig around SCREW YOU GRAVITY!

 

seriously though I know fuck all about laptops so please guide me through this, and if you can, compare the performance of a laptop to a desktop (ex.: this i5 3450M (inventing a CPU chip) is about the same as an i3 3330)

 

Budget: Less than $1600

Canadian websites only that accept Paypal

I need at least 10 hours of battery

It didn't take me long to find it :P

actually it's a bit too overkill, excuse my last post I was high on music

 

It's not serious gaming. And I don't want it to surpass my desktop either lol

 

 

and something under 4lbs is ideal

 

 

however I do like the 4K display, I'm not sure about buying it honestly
