Laptop Issues - Charge Port.

My laptop charge port isn't working right, and my hunch is that it's going to have to be replaced. 

 

Would I be better off trying it myself, or letting the pros do it?

 

Also, what is the typical cost of something like this?

 

I do have a PC, so it's not the end of the world, but my laptop is very important for work and school.
