Obsidian 450D question

I'm building my first gaming computer in this case, it will have one HDD and one SSD. I will mount the SSD at the back of the mobo tray. It will have one optical drive. Is it possible to mount the HDD in the second optical bay so i can remove the hdd mounts on the bottom and save some precious airflow ?

Yes, you'll have to buy a 3.5" to 5.25" adaptor.
