GPU clock speed stuck

Go to solution Solved by Vebb,

Contact Asus support.

My Asus AMD R9 270x  DirectCUII maxes out its clock speed at 1000 mhz when its supposed to come factory overclocked to 1120 mhz. I have tried using MSI Afterburner and AMD CCC to further overclock it and it continues to stay at 1000 mhz core clock and 1400 mhz memory clock.

Any advice can help

Thanks :)

My first guess would be to restart the system.

RMA, get 370 or 380. Or a new one of the same.

What temps do you see?

Does it run hot, thermal throttling?

Is there a switch on the card for silent and performance mode?

I have tried restarting and downloading the drivers, with no luck. My temps are at load around 68, which should be fine.

If you have any other suggestions that might help that would be greatly appreciated, also if you know any one else that might have ideas please sent them here.

thanks :)
