so this is my first ever build.

1. Motherborad - ASUS Z97-A ATX
2.CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz
3. CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-D15
3. Gcard - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1
4. Case - Fractal Design Define S
6. +3 Fans - Noctua 140mm
7. SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
8. HDD - 300 gb Samsung
8. hyperX FURY 2x4GB

I'm planning to do overclocking, i wont add more G card and my system got total of 7 fans
also gonna run windows 8.1

some questions:

1. what power supply (how many watts) i need for this system.
2. are the fans overkill ?

this is my first time. if you got any suggestions on how to make my system better pls let me know.

Budget?(for total Build)

Go with a EVGA 750W G2

And Yes the fans are overkill, some corsair SP120 Quiet Edition's would do the job just fine

There is no real reason to have that many fans,

you would need a 500 watt psu all though a 650watt psu would allow for a second card in sli in the future.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Noooo....................................

750 won't be able to do dual 980Ti but 750w will do 970/980 SLI

You might as well go for an EVGA G3 650 watt psu.
