Posted July 4, 2015 Don't get BO2 just bought it it's terrible. You can only get TDM servers, and everyone has 200+ ping and are lagging everywhere. And if you do manage yo get another gamemode it's just non stop killstreakes. Posted July 4, 2015 The Black Ops games are good ports. Treyarch is the only dev that really cares about their pc players. Cod4 is also still very popular on PC so I would look into that as well. Posted July 5, 2015 I can comment on Call of Duty 4, but not others. CoD4 still has a pretty decent playerbase because of community dedicated servers. There are very little cheats since Punkbuster catches most and if some people do cheat then admins on the servers ban them immediately anyway. You will have to fiddle around with the game a bit, for example I had to edit the config and unlock the framerate to 120fps so I don't get mouse latency, but other than that my game runs perfect. So I can recommend CoD4, maybe not for $20, but $10 isn't a bad price to pick it up at if you can find a copy. I know Activision had a sale for it for 51% this past Summer Sale. Also I heard CoD WaW and BO1 has dedicated servers, but I'm not sure about playerbase and how well the games play, so yeah... Posted July 6, 2015 CoD4, most servers have decent anticheats and admins. Or Mw2. Because alterIWnet/Iw4play has kept that thing on life support for a LOOONG time. IT still has more players than WAW. Also in CoD4, some servers are pretty dumb. One time I went on with a super obvious "human/silent aimbot" that basically just auto shot in the direction you were facing and you got hitmarkers and kills. Your bullets like teleported to the enemies and hit them. I ran around and bunnyhopped and just let it do its thing, 1 hour later admin finally catches on and bans me. I had like 90 kills in a FFA. Posted July 6, 2015 I'm not really a CoD fan but I think I should get one again. I played BO2 on Xbox and I didn't very enjoy it, flame. I always hear that the games aren't optimized very good for PC. Should I get AW or BO2 for PC? And is the Season Pass for AW worth it? Wait for black ops 3, I have a good feeling about it this year, because Treayarch. Posted July 6, 2015 dude, pc has kids and cheats. it's not better.
