Cannot install QuickTime. (Windows 10.)

I cannot install QuickTIme on Windows 10, and it is absolutely essential that I get it working. Everything else has run and worked fine, but I hit a snag when attempting to install QuickTIme. I need it for the Adobe Suite, before any of you tell me it's not worth having. 

 

 

I have heard that QuickTime can be installed on Windows 8, and I have seen people do so. However, compatibility mode with Windows 7, or Windows 8 still results in this error. I have tried the setup through their website, through Ninite, and even running the troubleshooter on it, but to no avail. I have also tried running it as an Administrator. 

 

I have heard that using an earlier version of QuickTIme, like 7.7.5 can alleviate this, but that's only word of mouth from random people on the Apple / Microsoft forums. 

 

Any help would be very appreciated. I'm on Windows 10 64-Bit.

Installing QuickTime 7.7.6 resolved the issue. Thankfully. 

 

QuickTime 7.7.7 does NOT work on Windows 10.
