Limit on wireless connected devices?

Go to solution Solved by vorticalbox,

I'm selling a WD Mynet 900c 2TB storage outer on Ebay, and a guy messaged me asking how many devices he can connect to it via wifi. Is there such a limit? I thought you could have as many as you want (within reason) he said, for example that apple airport express can manage 50 devices at once, which sounds like an apple made up number because it isnt a multiple of 8.  What should i tell him?

most routers are set to give ips from 192.168.1.2 ~ 192.168.1.255 giving 253 devices. not hard to config it should you need more than 250 devices...
