So I have an old (3 - 4 years) external Samsung 2Tb HDD, which is not bus-powered and need power supply from a "charger".

The issue it's, It suddenly stops working while I'm using it. At first I thought it automatically disabled itself because it wasn't being used, but today I found myself trying to copy files to it and when I was dragging the files to the HDD folder, It dissapeared like It was being unplugged although It was plugged. Windows had his typical sounds of "Well, you just unplugged something from an USB port" but it was still plugged, and I have to unplug/plug ir order for it to work again.

So what's going on? Satan? Illuminati? Or maybe I should quickly backup all my stuff from it?

PD: sorry about my English

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
