So what I'm wondering is, within my router, will I be able to set, for example, LAN1 with my default DNS and LAN2 with the Google DNS?

I'm running a Smart rg SR505N.

I've browsed the settings within and from my knowledge it doesn't appear to be possible, at least with the switch built in.

Thoughts? Anyone done this? Or do you think this is only an adapter setting within the devise?

The only way this would be possible is if you were able to create two different DHCP scopes and segregate the LAN into different VLANs that your AIO router/dhcp/switch thing could serve DHCP for.

DNS is a DHCP Option, so unless your router allows you to create different DHCP scopes, you're out of luck.

As @Neil says, DHCP is what gives your devices an internal IP + gateway + DNS servers + netmask, If you wan't that functionality, you will have to a VLAN for each port and have DHCP operate differently for each VLAN. I don't think it's worth the hassle even if your equipment does support it.
