How long would I need to run Aida64 system stability test to make sure everything is stable and fine? I'm talking about a non-overclocked system (one in my sig). I did run it for about 25 mins yesterday without anything out of the ordinary, temps were normal (50*C CPU: 72*C GPU). Asking since recently a very small amount of sporadic coil whine appeared and i am not even sure what's the source. I did recently change my PSU cause it was whining so it shouldn't be that. Overall system stability seems to be good, it always POSTs, except that it froze last night while I was opening up GPU-Z and closing Furmark all while having Homeworld 2 open in the background and a skype call running as well. So yeah, is it worth worrying about the slight coil whine that occasionally can be heard from the chasis or am I starting to become paranoid

Run for a few hours just to be sure with CPU and GPU Z for Temps

If you are running stock then you may be able to under volt your CPU

CPU is not causing any issues, I was more worried bout PSU/GPU since the slight whine I hear and a bit of ticking from the PSU area. Mind you everything is 4 months old and PSU is 1 week old.

EDIT: aaaaand ticking just disappeared. I think I might be hearing things at this point.

It's just getting settled in making a nest no need to worry

Just keep it clean and make sure it has plenty of Air to suck on

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I had some rather urgent family business to adress.

Anyhow, yeah, I do think that the PSU it just getting settled since when I first turned it on it had a rather loud buzz which turned quiet over the course of several hours. Probably still getting itself in the right spot (considering I've moved the case several times as well) so yeah. And I trust in both Asus and Seasonic because they are well know for good quality. Hell, my sister's laptop has been doused in beer and possibly cola and is still alive and working (asus ftw?)
