How will do you think itnwill game remember its only 500 pounds so it wont be fantastic, but dovyou think i could play most steam games at 1080p+ on this gaming rig?

Yes you could play all steam games at 1080p, I'd suggest grabbing a cheap CPU cooler or optical drive in addition however.

The case isn't very nice to build in, the motherboard is just too low-end and the power supply seems fine, but I don't really trust XFX.

Case is just kinda personal opinion like peripherals with the features and looks you like. PSU isn't BAD but isn't obviously the best. Since he can't OC that mobo is fine but a good H97 mobo could be a bit better.

More features, better support with upgrading (4 RAM slots for example), usually a better layout, etc.
