Hi everyone I've a PC with an apu amd a10 7870k and I'm intended to buy a 2560x1080 monitor. Will it run with my apu? I've never used it over fullhd.

No that resolution will not work.  You could probably display websites, and possibly Youtube, but that APU would not be happy.

 

You could always get a Radeon R5 series GPU used to crossfire (?) with the APU.

I'd get an R7 360 and crossfire with your APU. But it depends on what you want to do.
