Motherboard problem

Go to solution Solved by das affe,

just put one in the middle and four in the corners and you're golden. no prob until you put those BeQuiet! or noctua coolers on there. a graphcscard will be not much of a problem cause it is screwed in at the back

have fun building

So i've run into a slightly annoying problem. I need to install a motherboard and get a computer working by tomorrow but out of the eight stand offs i need i only have five. Do you think I could get away with five using strategic placing or has anyone got another solution, thanks.

You should be fine. You can tape some non conductive spacers behind it the same height as the standoffs if you are still concerned.
