C2D E6550 Cooling

so i was cleaning my pc and when i was reinstalling the C2D cooler one pin broke :(

so i got in to the basement and i found a pentium 4 pc! :)

so i got the cooler out of it and installed it into my pc 

but now i have a question on speedfan it gives me load temps of 22 degree Celsius

with my C2D cooler i got around 40 degree Celsius on load

 

 is this normal? (srry for bad english iam dutch)

Your links are broken bud, I would love to see which P4 cooler you're using.

Oh, It's a 775 P4. that's just fine, you're golden.

so i guess i put my fan speed on half and enjoy silence :)
