Guys,

 

Whats the smart solution ?

 

1 x 120gb ssd for windows + installed programs + 1x 500gb ssd  for games + 1x hdd ssd for storage

or 

1x 500gb ssd windows + installed programs + games + 1x hdd for storage

or

1x 1tb ssd for everything ?

I'd go for a 500GB SSD and then a HDD for mass storage. Enough room for programs and some games, alongside the OS, and files and media can be put on the HDD.

SSD for OS and programs + HDD for everything else... and trust me, 1TB will not be enough I am currently sitting on 4TB and soon to be upgraded

But if you choose separate ssd for windows and games, doesnt mean you can format without installing the games again ?

Hi there @pix-!

 

I personally would prefer the second option because with that you'll have enough space for apps and games on the SSD, and plenty of space for mass storage as well. Furthermore, you can also install and run games from the HDD since the only benefit from running them on SSD speeds will be the faster loading times which will be a big plus for open world games and such that have to load often and load in objects.
