Audio Issue [Screenshots]

Go to solution Solved by Wander Away,

Try reinstalling drivers directly downloaded from MSI's motherboard website. If that doesnt work, it might be trouble on the hardware side.

I just did a fresh install of windows, had all my drivers installed from the CD's i received with the motherboard and graphics card (both 3 weeks old) but now my audio is acting up.

Ive got a small bass speaker with an audio jack input which i plugged into the computers audio jack. The speaker is on, but the audio doesnt show so. My audio drivers are the following (right from the CD using the "Total Installer" option like recommended by MSI):

  •  Sound Blaster Cinema
  • Realtek HD Audio Drivers

This is what is shown to me on startup:

Once i click on it, it shows this:

b9727a7e45.PNG

If i click "Yes" it will show me this:

The error is the following:

4e19407927.PNG

Does anyone know how i can fix this? So far I've re-installed the drivers and done a reset of my PC.

Just did this and the audio button is now showing as sound is coming out, but it says my speaker is a headphone, and when theres sound "playing" from it, its not playing on my end. Havnt changed anything hardware related the entire windows update + drivers install

Ok, turns out my speaker is dead. R.I.P. I tried my phones earphones and it works.
