Installed 7950 - No boot

Quick-

Just wanted to check with everyone here before I take this back and RMA it.

I just put my new gigabyte 7950 in, reset my bios and no boot.  Monitor says "no picture detected" or something

So I uninstalled all of my old drivers from Intel (using integrated)  installed the latest divers for the 7950. Put it back in and same thing...

The fans spin on the graphics card but nothing else happens.

Does anyone else have any ides?  Not looking forward to the 1 hour drive.

I had a old gt 220 in the pcie slot before and it worked.. So I know that's good.

System specs

4670k

MSI Z87 G45

GS600 psu

Are you sure you have the cable plugged into the gpu?

Can you try the 7950 in another system?

Was talking about Dvi cable--I've seen many people plug it into the mobo instead.

Seems like you might have a DOA 7950. RMA?

What AMD drivers are you using?

What AMD drivers are you using?

I tried none, I tried the latest official (13.4), and the latest beta (13.6)

I even tried completely removing my ssd to see if I could boot into the bios (which works with the integrated) but no go.  It just completely stops my computer from booting.

Seems like it, have to make it there before they close.

I would exchange it because it seems that you have a faulty card. But I would try the card on a different PCI E 3.0 slot to see if it is your PCI-E slot is broken or not.

I have an old graphics card that works perfectly in it. So it's not the slot. :p

But yeah, pretty sure I'm going to go take it back.
