Google drive sharing problems

Just recently, I uploaded a couple thousand photos to google drive that take up 8 gb on my account. I wanted to share all of these photos with another account, so I shared the entire photos folder. The folder was successfully shared with all of the sub folders, but many of the photos were missing. One of the folders contained 250 photos, but on the receiving end, it only contained 230. This happened to almost all of my sub folders, the amount varied from a couple photos missing to 50 photos missing. I have already tried reloading the page, restarting the browser, un-sharing and then re-sharing. None of these have worked so far. Any suggestions?
