So I have a razer blackwidow and naga plugged into my computer. They were both working fine with no issues however today there was a power cut, one that only lasted for a second but was enough to cause my computer to shut down. When I turned it back on I found that I couldn't move my mouse, first I assumed that the power cut had broken the mouse but then I booted into safe mode. Here the mouse worked fine, when I started synapse the cursor froze again. While doing this my keyboard has worked fine regardless of what is running. I stopped synapse from running at startup then uninstalled it and reinstalled it, this did nothing.
I know that it is freezing the cursor in place because when I try and use something other mice it won't move either, team viewer and xpadder are also prevented from being able to move the mouse. I can only assume that an update was applied when the computer restarted but I don't have any system restore points to go back to. I was wondering if anyone knows of this issue or might have an idea of how to fix it, thanks.

Razer Drivers are generally garbage, but Synapse takes it to a whole new level.

I once had a Synapse bug where if I tried to do an "@", it would delete the last three characters I made, make a space and type "no".
Freaked me the fuck out back then!

You can get non-synapse drivers here: http://drivers.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&_m=downloads&_a=view
They're much better, and It should fix the issue.

Yeah sadly I don't think the naga 2014 has legacy drivers so I guess i'll just have to wait and hope that they fix something

Ah, yeah.. it appears the don't.

You could try to do as jameshumphries47 suggested: Reinstall?

You could also try to use the regular Naga or Naga 2012 drivers. I don't know if it would work, I switched out my Razer gear years ago, but it's worth a try I guess.
