So I want to buy the new and amazing HyperX Predator off of newegg, but their m.2 SSD that is in the PCI-e adapter is out of stock. The motherboard is an ASRock x99 Extreme4. I heard that x99 motherboards can support the m.2 SSD's by themselves, but can someone really tell em if this is true before I buy anything?

I'm one of those people who makes those bass music things.
