Can't Get BIOS Started

I built everything correctly and I checked all the connections. However, when I turn on the computer, I get a "No Signal" from the monitor. The mobo I got did not come with a CMOS jumper and so I tried multiple CMOS resets. I removed the battery, shorted the two jumper pins, etc. None of these seem to work. I don't know what to do now and I need help.

 

My mobo is a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 if that helps.
