There seems to be a "shaky" noise coming from the right ear sub-woofer. Not sure if something is loose or broken. I'm too afraid to open it in case I void the warranty.

>Razer

Found your problem.

Joking aside a screw may have come loose. I would email Razer and see what they say before opening it.

I've emailed them. I chose razer because I'm quite content with their products. I've got the mamba, blackwidow and tiamat 7.1's and they have all served me very well. I also can't afford higher end products such as sennheisers. If I had one thing to complain about razer is that synapse still doesn't support the mamba even though it was supposed to by last December.

Good to know you never had issues with their products. I for one like many others have had several issues and I chose not to buy from Razer again.

Yep besides this issue now I've never had another problem. I'm usually pretty gentle on my stuff. I've had the mouse for almost 2 years now and it's battery still stands strong. The keyboard works great for me and I'm no audiophile so the headset is better than my old microsoft one.

That is good. Subwoofers are enclosed in a box and I'm 100% sure that box does have some screws in it. Obviously something is in there that shouldn't be or a screw may have somehow become unscrewed from all that hardcore Skrillex you have been listening to.

edit: derp its a headset. Even still, it may be a screw or possibly something else.

I'd wager adhesive, screws really would make it too expensive.

I own a Tiamat 7.1 and I haven't encountered a problem yet. When I first plugged it in though, I got a large amount of buzzing through the headset. Turned out to be interferrence from my line-in cable :/ But for all we know, it may not be a headset problem.
