So with Microsoft showing a very strong commitment to VR over E3 and the PC gaming conference, with the announcements that Windows 10 will natively support oculus rift and the steam HTC vive, Who thinks we could see a native VR desktop on Windows 10? I've been using the technical preview for a few days now, and I could easily see them being able to convert the tablet mode into something reminiscent of oculus home. Also with the push towards using their own hollow lens, they have stated it could be used for productivity as well as gaming. For that to be a real world scenario, they would have to have a relatively Full featured VR desktop.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I could see some sort of accessing a tablet mode of your desktop on your wall or table using hololens while away from your PC. Or having hololens put a virtual second monitor on your wall or something. But I don't see them making any sort of VR desktop.....
