Computer's don't make errors. What they do, they do on purpose.

Hotglue + wood.  Make your own stand.  You can velcro the thing to your case as well.

The fans also blow cool-ish air over the router which does get hot because the power is boosted on it.

No the air coming off the rad isn't hot.  If it's coming off hot then you either have really crappy pump speed or the entire loop is on fire (and you need more rad)

phobya (this is the thicker version of it also all copper not the alumium fin brass tube one . cant buy it at frozen they are dead ) makes a 1080 its a triple 120mm 3 wide so a 9 fan rad it has  a box you can buy that it screws in to which also can have a res/pump attached to it also  http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14966/ex-rad-338/Phobya_Nova_1080_External_Radiator_Box_-_Black_Powder_Coat_38282.html.

if your pc is producing enough heat the air that leaves the rad if you have a good fan and high FPI can feel warm to hot . with a larger rad you will be able to get you loop closer to the ambient temp of the room but at the same time it will take the heat from your system faster and dump it to where the rad is which in turn will raise the ambient slowly ,if your not running A/C or have your windows open

aquacomputer also makes a few large rads if price ant a issue there like 700 euros +

Is air that comes off of a radiator hot, do I have to worry about it making my case noticeably hotter

to argue this Point how is the air comming from the heatsink inside the case?

air coolers Generally Just dump the exhaust air into the case area relying on case fans to remove it from the PC

water cooling Exposes more surface area hence lowering the temp gain overall and providing more cooling.

dumping warm( at most) air into the PC will raise temps sure. but not by a lot I recommend Filtered front intakes then using a 240+ Rad on the top exhausting air

this will get you filtered air from the front. good thing you only have to clean the water cooling rad Almost never and only wash the filters on the front.

I did this on a Antec 300 and damn it worked good.
