Help! Cheap test bench platform

WHat is a cheap test bench? All the ones I see are really expensive. The cheapest one is like 60$. At that point just spend 20 more and get a good one from here: http://www.highspeedpc.com/product_p/td_techstation_std.htm

It would take a lot more time but you could always make your own...

For less than 80$? For 80$ you get aluminum not wood or cheap plastic.

Probably not, i depends on how much some pieces of aluminium and screws cost. I'd just buy the $80 test bench.
