From A4 6300 -> Athlon x4 860k

Everything works great in terms of gaming performance, but seeing

1.sudden black screen that takes a couple of seconds and comes back to normal

2.Sometime the whole pc just gets extremely slow, and freezes, well my hdd is working its ass off from the hdd led but things get really choppy

-I already have all the latest drivers

-No, i have all my registry and junk file clean, it even happens when i switched hdd and ran ubuntu 12.04(not sure of the version)

-I didn't face these issues before upgrade

-My thermal is good, motherboard and every other component works fine, well atleast from what I can see

*Troubleshoot might have been better thread, sorry, replace if you want to*

Are you sure your monitor is plugged into the R9?

sorry if I am coming off stupid, but there are cpu drivers? never knew

not really, but any old motherboard drivers may still thing you have the other cpu, so reinstalling all of them would be a good idea.

There are drivers for the 6300 you had. Those could definitely interfere with the functioning of your 860K
