Okay, so after starting to build my HTPC, I want to upgrade my existing dekstop into a watercooled PC for it to be quieter and cooler.

Current desktop build:

CPU: i5-3570k

Motherboard: ASUS Z77 Sabertooth

RAM: 16 GB G. Skill Ripjaw X (2x8GB) 1600

Graphics card: GTX 680 SC+ (moving to a GTX 780 and putting 680 in HTPC)

PSU: SeaSonic 650W modular

Case: Fractal Design R4 windowless

I don't need to look at the watercooling loop right now. I might get a windowed panel from Fractal in the future since they're kinda cheap.

I have no idea which parts are the best for watercooling. I wouldn't mind getting a T-Virus reservoir for when I get a Windowed panel.

Build colors are going to be Black and Blue. I might do custom sleeving like Linus did.

Also, the important question, is a water cooling case generally move able? Because I take my desktop home with me on breaks from college, such as Winter, Springbreak, and summer. I have to lay down the case on its side most of the time. Would that be a problem?

Budget is between $1000-1500. Can go over if necessary.

Desktop: Intel i5-3570K (stock) | Asus Sabertooth Z77 | G.Skill RipJaw 16GB 1600MHz | Samsung 840 120GB | EVGA GTX 680 SC+ 2GB | Fractal Design R4 | Windows 8 Pro (soon to have dual boot Mac OS X)

Retina Macbook Pro : Intel i7-3840QM | 16GB 1600 MHz | 256GB SSD | Nvidia GT 650M 1GB | Mac OS X 10.8.5

Moving might pose a bit of a problem with a w/c loop but as far as the components go, take a look at the watercooling 101 sticky in the watercooling part of the forum
