Well this is just banter really....

over the last month or so i've be slowly sleeving my psu cables...its not the most entertaining thing ever but its neat :).

i started doing my 24 pin atx last night and my god!!! never again, i think i got like 6 cables in and looking at it was daunting... so i gave up. now i have colourful cables mixed with a few paracord sleeved cables :( yuck!

anyone else done something like this?

I started sleeving my 8-pin EPS cable, but without a paracord threader tool (or whatever it's called). The terminal of one of the wires snagged so many times that eventually I managed to rip it off. So right not I have to use the shorter power connector (thank god for modular PSU's), but running in full view through my side window. Bought some more terminals off eBay, so hopefully I can crimp one back on and have it all working again without having to buy a whole new set of cables.

Wit is educated insolence.

I managed to rip it off.

man that sucks, luckily i didnt manage to ruin any of the cables. sometimes the heatshrink wouldnt work properly so the sleeving was moving, my HAF 932 doesnt reveal all so its okay atm, i wanna get a bigger window but i think ill buy a pre done 24 pin. 6 is fine, 8 is fine....24 is just no!

anywhere i can pay someone to do a 24 pin in black paracord???

i think the worse think about it tbh, was making sure each cable was gunna go back right. pci and cpu cables were easy, but the 24 pin was so confusing and i had to right stuff down after removing each wire haha

I used to sleeve my cables but I hate it

I just pay for them instead

I am that horribly lazy

We're in the same boat on that one.
