I've been working on this build to get as much performance but under a reasonable cost and I got this so far. I don't have the case or power source because I got a reasonably good power source(550w) from a friend and already had a case that supports atx motherboards and am going with the following parts:

MSI 970-G43 motherboard

Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4gb RAM kit

AMD 8320 CPU

Sapphire Radeon R9 270x GPU

Western Digital Blue 1tb HDD

Is there anything I could improve that is still within a reasonable price range?

1x8 Gb sticks are cheaper than 2x4 Gb.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Don't go with AMD for CPUs above FX4xxx Series.

Seems to be a pretty decent build. If you are getting a 270(x) I would recommend waiting for the new 370(x) as they have been showen, reviewed, and release is just around the corner. Also if you can spare the extra cash get an 8350 cpu. Stock cooler whould be fine for you needs but if you want things a bit cooler/quieter go for something like, you guessed it, hyper 212evo.

I know 16 Gb RAM isn't really necessity for gaming... But... Overkill is always nice.
