So I bought the swiftech H240-x

but when I looked at the reservoir I saw this:

Is this normal? should I contact the shop where I bought it?

It's not normal and this isn't the first time someone has posted this on the forums. It's either a contaminate from the rad that wasn't flushed out before filling of the loop. If you can try return it and get another AIO water cooler many users have had problems with swiftech's AIO coolers.

I contacted the shop were I bought it they said this:

''According to swiftech:

During transport from China – Europe, the liquid was still for quite some time and it had endured temperatures differences.

The flakes are from the liquid that was on the bottom and it will solve up again when in use.''

this is the first time I use a liquid cooler so I don't know if this could be true or not

I also can't try it until Monday because I'm waiting for parts for my system

Try just running it and see if it dissolves but from the last time I saw this it wasn't soluble particles inside the loop it looked like copper flakes from manufacturing or something similar to wet cardboard.

I tried running it and it dissolved, I've got it on my cpu now, it sits at around 29 degrees Celsius at idle
