I am an mechanical enginner student, on my last year, and i was planning to build a pc for gaming, cad work and general use.

i already selected the components and i wanted a opinion on them, how to best use them.

i have a budget of 1500€ tops, but if it was below that even better.

Processor:

Intel i7 3770K

http://www.pcdiga.com/2/7870/Intel-Core-i7-3770K-3-5GHz-8MB-Sk1155-BX80637I73770K

Hard Drive:

http://www.pcdiga.com/2/6312/Disco-Seagate-Barracuda-2TB-SATA-III-64MB-ST2000DM001

And i already have an SSD, agility 3 so i won't be needing that.

Sorry for any mistakes, since i'm not a native english speaker.

Thank You

Different aesthetics and cooling design. Can't remember off the top of my head but there may also be a slightly different clock rate

If you're intent on using CAD or professional applications, consider getting a Quadro card, since it's designed for that kind of usage instead of a gaming card.
Alright fair enough, but just make sure you have your priorities figured out one way or another, since unless you get two cards (one gaming one workstation) you'll be compromising on something.

I seriously wouldn't recommend the G45 since he's planning on overclocking. That board only has 4 phases and uses low-quality DPAK MOSFETs, which would really limit him from adding voltage. I would at least recommend a GD55 or a D3H.
