Hi! I am thinking about upgrading my pc. I currently have a hd7770, 550w psu, 8gb ram, AMD Athlon x4 760k clocked at 3,8ghz. matx motherboard and case (moving my pc a lot so dont want it any bigger).

I think a good option is to upgrade to a gtx 960 and later when i want to upgrade again i might buy a core i5 (1150 socket) and a mother board that costs a bit more but supports SLI. That way i can later buy another gtx 960 when my pc is running slow (I would love a pc that is open for upgrades )

My questions are. Should i go for the more expensive mother board that supports sli? Is sli a good future upgrading option? Is there any other better options you think i should go for? is upgrading to a gtx 960 a good choice? Is a 550w psu enough?

My budget is not really limited but i dont want to be spending that much on my pc. I could sell the gtx 960 when i want the uppgrade but i dont think there is a very big market for graphics cards in sweden ;). I dont really know whats best :/ so please help!

Thank you for the help!

Well knowing the budget does help to decide for what would be best for your money now.

Well, you could try upgrading to the 980, since it's only about $300 for the upgrade from the 960; if you sold the 960 for around $260, that is.

Dont you think i would get something like Under a 100 dollars for selling a 960? You can buy it for 200 dollars on amazon and it will reduce in value over time

The 980 is one of the worst deals on the market since the 980ti so it is a waste to get the 980 when you can go a little more for the 980ti

Well i dont really have a number in mind just want to be able to play most games in 1080p 60fps

Well that doesn't help because depending on the amount you would be upgrading one to a couple parts or just about all except for the ram and storage.

Around $130-155 if you are lucky the $155 it also has a factor in what model you bought.

I think i just want to upgrade the graphics card for now and want the best bang for the buck around 160-260 dollars. (Whats required for 1080p 60fps gaming). And if i go higher then a 960 dont you think it will be bottled necked my my amd athlon cpu?
