So what I want to do is to have headphones and speakers connected to the rear and output as 2 different sound devices. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI motherboard and it automatically replaces Realtek control panel with it's own, so when I connect a speaker to f.e. line-in jack, I can choose for it to register as a speaker:

This works perfectly fine, but when I plug in headphones and select them to be "Headphones" it doesn't create another output device:

This is how it looks when I attach headphones to the front panel:

I've done some research about remapping them manually via regedit and found that these are my default values:

Front speaker: Pin14 - 04 00 00 00Rear Speaker: Pin15 - 05 00 00 00Sub woofer: Pin16 - 06 00 00 00Mic (rear): Pin18 - 01 00 00 00Mic (front): Pin19 - 01 00 00 00Line-in: Pin1a - 02 00 00 00Headphones: Pin1b - 00 00 00 00

So I figured that I should change my values to these (basically put front speaker to line-in spot and headphones on front speaker spot):

Pin14 - 00 00 00 00Pin1a - 04 00 00 00

But after restarting it, they reset. I tried changing permissions of these values and allow Realtek to only read them, that slightly helped. Values stayed the same after reboot, but 2nd output device didn't appear.

So basically what I want to have in the end is 2 outputs (speakers and headphones) from rear panel, but either software doesn't let this happen or it's limited by hardware (although I've read a lot of people have been able to do it here). If anyone knows something about this problem, I would love to hear you out!

I genuinly have no idea if this'll work and I ofc haven't tested it:

Advanced settings on mine:

On your's: I think it's on the bottom right

Try checking the unchecked box:

Once again, I have no idea if this'll work.
