Ram sticks

Ok so i want to get 8gb of ram but most of them come in a kit (2x 4gb) however a few are a single 8gb. Does it matter if i use 1 instead of 2 sticks because i want to use 1 8gb for later upgrade

Nothing wrong with it, dual channel ram does bring slightly better performance. So just get a stick now and another one later :)
