Planning build for android mobile development

Hi!

Okay to start, I'm currently using a Lenovo y510p with i7-4700MQ, 8GB, 120gb SSD and currently planning to build a proper desktop pc.

I've been doing some research on how much power does Android Studio (IDE for Android development) need in terms of CPU, Memory and disk. OR how does Android Studio uses the system resources.

So far, using Resource Monitor, what I am able to record is the usage when I launch Android Studio (97% CPU, 43% memory - including other stuff, and about 35% disk), and when I build/compile my code, it uses almost 100% of the CPU.

Android Studio takes around 10~25seconds to load and under a minute (sometimes longer) to compile and run the code/app on an android device.

Also, there's some stuttering on the whole system (mouse lag and audio stutter) while it compiles but this does not occur most of the times, just about 1/6 chance.

Now, my questions are;

1. is having a multicore processor would achieve better results?

2. would 16gb memory more than enough for a new build also is 1600 enough for this scenario and/or in general?

3. should I worry about this or not if I'll be having a good build(posted below)?

4. also, please enlighten me with this, if possible..

Samsung 850 Evo 250gb

Corsair AX760

Corsair 250D

Corsair h100i hydro

1tb WD Blue

AX760 for future 980ti and... just because....

Please do note that I will not purchase this build anytime soon. So definitely, there will be better components when the time comes.

Nevertheless, if we get to have a discussion, I would have better (I hope) understanding of the components.

Also, I would game ever so often that having a GPU is not really necessary. Beside, I have hd5550 lying around.
