Xbox 360 PC Controller Driver Issue

Hey guys, ever sense a windows update my xbox controller no longer works with my PC (Windows 7)  I have tried 3 different PCs as well as 2 different controllers with the same outcome.  Ive manually downloaded the driver and still nothing.  Your guy's thoughts?

I'm using the latest Windows 8.1 update and installed my Xbox 360 driver off the disc in the box (PC edition) and I've had no issues.

Ive been using Win 7 and neither of the controllers game with discs are far as I remember.
