Driver question

Go to solution Solved by simson0606,

What's the difference between installing drivers one over another and a clean install?

Also, if I use DDU to wipe drivers, can I expect a crash if not in safe mode?

More specifically, with AMD from omega driver 14.5 to beta 15.5

are you looking to update your drivers or install drivers for a different card?

if you just want to have a newer driver you can install it without uninstalling the old one.

with a different card i'd recommend uninstalling the old one and running ddu

Was just curious since I didn't uninstall my old driver when updating. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
