I was planning on getting a decent 1080p monitor, and because of the large number of monitors on the market, I don't really know which is a good choice. I'd seen some that interest me, but I dont understand many of the details. What should i be looking for in a monitor, preferably for gaming, and is there anything to avoid?

My requirements fall along these lines: Around $240 or less/ 1080p/ 20"-24"/ 60Hz+

Monitors I had interest in but am not sure of: Asus VX248H or VX228H/ AOC i2367Fh/ Acer S235HLbii/ BenQ GL2460HM/ LG 23MP55HQ-P

These are the best monitors for "Bang For Your Buck" in my opinion!

They have an 8ms response time so not the BEST for gaming but still decent. This is the best monitor ever for $240.
