would there be any cheaper proccesor ?

and the headphones and mouse are place holders untill i get beter ones

The overall budget is the same. Why does the price of the CPU specifically matter?

Why the caviar green, and why so many damn fans? You have a GTX 960 and a watercooled dual-core. Don't expect it to be shooting flames, using whatever fans come with the case will likely be more than enough. The WD Caviar blue is faster, the Green is made for power efficiency and low noise levels. If you can afford some $100 keyboard atleast get a different processor! Having a nice keyboard won't be too important when your games won't run above 50fps. You're putting money in places that aren't very important. I recommen no aftermarket cooling, and buying an i5. So much better performance in literally everything, and it's cheaper or the same price. That power supply was also cutting it pretty close. This would be better in every single way for the money. Also you're pairing a high-end expensive keyboard with a garbage mouse. You don't need a PWM splitter for this build either. This is not the kind of computer that needs 8 fans and watercooling
