So recently my gf and I decided to start collecting board games that we like. Few of our friends have some but I'm trying to expand my horizons.

For now we only bought Eldritch Horror and we really like it. We wanted to buy Discworld: Ankh-Morpork but the store couldn't get hold of one since they are getting stuff from UK. Yes, I said store. In the capital of the country we have 1 store that is about stuff like that. It's terrible.

We played some others, like D&D: The Legend of Drizzt (gonna get that one sometime in the future, huge fan of the series), D&D: Castle RavenLoft, D&D: Wrath of Ashardalon, Neuroshima Hex (not that great for me), Yggdrasil, Axis & Allies (never again, I swear to god) and Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on the Cursed Island (nothing special) from those I can remember what their names are. Played a lot of card game but I'm not into those anymore.

So any suggestion? I'm still waiting Discworld (gf is a huge fan, I read a few books myself) and really want Descent: Journeys in the Dark (guilty pleasure, I want Mass Effect Risk, and the original Risk, not the dumb new edition, but original ones are CE now). And please don't tell me Monopoly, Cluedo and stuff like that.  :D

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Pandemic

Settlers of Catan

Stone Age

Dominion (not a board game, but same vein)

Basically, just watch Tabletop (on Geek & Sundry's youtube channel hosted by Wil Wheaton) and you can find tons of awesome board games of all kinds.

Friend has Pandemic, gonna try it out. I know, I can search the whole internet and find something, but wanted to hear some first person experiences  :D
